The tour culminates at the historic Hammonds House Museum, nestled in the heart of the West End. HHM Night Out - Youth / College Student Poetry Night

On Friday, February 27, Hammonds House Museum ignites the mic with HHM Night Out: Youth & College Student Poetry Night, a powerful evening where young voices take center stage. From 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, high school and college poets will deliver raw, original work—spanning love, joy, struggle, resistance, and dreams—that turns the museum into a space of truth-telling and celebration.
Hosted in partnership with Washington High School and Clark Atlanta University, this electrifying night brings together emerging writers, performers, and supporters in an intimate, live performance setting. Expect snapping, call-and-response, and moments that linger long after the final poem, as a new generation of storytellers claims the spotlight and imagines what’s possible.
